Shawn Batts: Just Go For It
Shawn Batts is our special guest this week. He is a Wilmington native, loan office at Movement Mortgage and an ambassador for Port City Young Professionals. Shawn is also a budding whiskey connoisseur, so we spend quite a bit of time walking through his journey of whiskey, the YouTube channel he hopes to establish, and just going for it when the opportunities arise.
This week's whiskey: Buffalo Trace
Made from the finest corn, rye and barley malt, this whiskey ages in new oak barrels for years in century old warehouses until the peak of maturity. The taste is rich and complex, with hints of vanilla, toffee and candied fruit. The smooth finish lingers on the palate. This will never change.
